Developing Tornado in Huntsville

WHNT-TV in Huntsville is covering a possible tornado in Huntsville live on air. Click here for live coverage.

They are showing a huge precipitation core, which likely contains a rain wrapped tornado.

The tornado is moving just to the north of Huntsville. Moving east at 50 mph.

Getting reports of lowering and rotation at Governors Drive and 14th.

Funnel cloud near 911 Center on Old Monrovia Drive and Rideout Road.

Debris is reported at Gate 10 at Redstone.

Winds gusted to 51 knots or 59 mph at Huntsville International Airport.
