Alabama 811 | Know What's Below.

Sunny and Hot

| May 28, 2011 @ 3:24 pm | 2 Replies

A gorgeous late spring day is in progress across Alabama.  The satellite picture tells it all:  clear skies across most of the state, with just a few high clouds across Northeast Alabama.

Temperatures have reached 90F at Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.  Anniston was not far behind at 88F.

Radars are clear at this hour.  The nearest precipitation to Alabama is showers and thunderstorms over North Florida and Southern Georgia.

We will stay dry through probably Tuesday, and perhaps longer.  Temperatures will continue to be hot, even heating up a few degrees over the next few days, with some mid 90s possible early in the coming week.
