In the Middle of the Night

As midnight approached, rain had diminished and practically ended over Northwest and Extreme North Alabama.

A wide band of rain (and some thunderstorms) continued from Cherokee County in NE Alabama, southwestward all the way to Mobile. By far, the heaviest rain extended from Wilcox and Marengo County SW to Mobile.

Movement was toward the southeast…
