Early Morning Noise

But loud enough to awaken some folks, including me. At 5:15 am, a broad line of showers (and yes a few thunderstorms extended from about Greensboro in West Alabama northeastward across the Birmingham area and northeast to about Chattanooga.

A few thunderstorms included but none of them severe. Heaviest rain was in St. Clair County northeast to about Guntersville. Movement was toward the northeast.

This band of showers and a few thunderstorms was near a “cold” front now moveing across west and north Alabama.
