Loud Storms Continue

| January 11, 2012 @ 2:04 am

Strong storms continue over Alabama this morning… stronger storms are producing very heavy rain, lots of lightning, and some small hail. The band of storms is moving to the east, and thankfully there is no surface based instability, and the storms are under severe limits (you must have one inch diameter hail or 58 mph winds to be severe).

The best chance of severe storms this morning will be east of I-65, and south of I-85, over Southeast Alabama.
