Prattville Tornado Damage

Lots of interest in the Prattville tornado.

You can see aerial video of the Prattville damage from our helicopter, Airlink 33/40, here.

And, thanks to Lamar and Shanna Jackson for these ground shots… they write:

“My Wife Shanna and I are serious weathernerds. She more than I. We used to live in Prattville but now hail from Montgomery. We have good friends who were seriously affected by yesterday’s tornado in Prattville. Here are a few pictures from Sheila Blvd in Prattville. I went through this as a kid…losing everything to a tornado. It is heartbreaking to see the devastation. Very humbling.

Our friends, Mike and Jeri Doss, lost three vehicles, a 1962 Airstream travel trailer (you can see the frame and wheels in the roof of a house four houses down the street), and the contents of their home.

Shanna and I went to help in Enterprise after the storm last year. After walking Sheila Blvd yesterday, this looks very much the same to me.

I know the community will bring everyone the relief they need.

FYI, Shanna, my wife, reads your blog daily. There is no weather coverage like YOUR weather coverage. She watched you when she lived in Bham a few years back. Thank you for your passionate dedication to your craft.”
