Before Breakfast in Alabama
Quite a change in the weather across Alabama very early on this Friday morning as compared to yesterday morning when it seemed like it was raining over the whole world!
The south to north “train of rain” that wet down Alabama very good has shifted more toward the east. Radar is clear as far as Alabama is concerned. This morning, scattered showers extend from North Georgia northward to West Virginia.
While we may see some more widely scattered showers or thunderstorms today our next better chance for showers and thunderstorms will be early in the upcoming week–about Monday and Tuesday.
Again later this morning, we will post some more 24 hour rain amounts. They are impressive.
James will be along soon with his morning discussion which will cover the race weekend at Talladega.
