Severe Thunderstorm Warning Including Jefferson County

Strong storms continue tonight from Smith Lake to Jasper to northwestern tuscaloosa County near Moores Bridge to Gordo/Reform in Pickens County to near Carrollton.

A new severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Jefferson, Tuscaloosa and Walker Counties.

At 12:15, the strongest storms were near Whitson in northern Tuscaloosa County, near Moores Bridge and near Carrollton.

Everything is moving southeast at 15-20 mph.

The stronger storms contain large hail and the potential for winds. They all contain lightning and heavy rain, as well as gusty winds and small hail.
