This storm remains a direct and serious threat to life and property for those in the path. Below is a visible satellite image.

Here is a stunning satellite with Sandy and cold air advection cloud streets in Gulf and off Southeast US coast.

The central pressure remains under 950 mb… tropical storm force winds extend out almost 500 miles.
