A line of intense thunderstorms are moving through this area. The line coming into western Montgomery County is beginning to bow out. When lines bow out like this, they can produce damaging winds. Wind gust so far of 41 knots at Dannelly Field and 49 mph at the RSA tower downtown.

* AT 1033 AM CST…THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDICATED A LINE OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM
LOWNDESBORO TO HAYNEVILLE TO 5 MILES SOUTH OF BEECHWOOD…AND
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 60 MPH.
