No warnings are in effect for North Central Alabama at this time.

There still is a severe thunderstorm watch for Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Coosa, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tuscaloosa [AL] till 8:00 PM CST.

We have a line of intense storms pushing through western Jefferson, northeastern Tuscaloosa, western Bibb, western Perry and eastern Hale Counties.

But so far, no major damage reports in North Central Alabama.

For now just thunder and lightning and heavy rain as well as some gusty winds for places like Birmingham, Anniston and Gadsden.

Also, behind this line, the threat for severe weather is over for folks in Lamar, Fayette, Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Greene, Hale, Sumter, Marengo and Choctaw Counties.

Further south, a dangerous situation now for far northeastern Clarke and Wilcox Counties.
