Temperatures are climbing through the 50s across Central Alabama on this January Sunday under clear skies.

You would be hard pressed to find a cloud in the sky across the state.

A cold front is over the Missouri Bootheel this afternoon. It will push into North Alabama tonight and stall over Central sections on Monday. It is the leading edge of some much colder air to the north.

We will only get a glancing blow from the cold air fortunately. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 40s, but only lower 40s on Tuesday. Monday night lows will be in the lower and middle 20s. The next chance of rain will come Thursday night into Friday.
