SOUTHEASTERN ST. CLAIR COUNTY IN ALABAMA…

* UNTIL 130 PM CST

* AT 1018 AM CST…RADAR INDICATED THAT ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN
WITH LOCALLY GREATER AMOUNTS HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE AREA. AN
ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES IS POSSIBLE DURING THE NEXT ONE TO TWO
HOURS. SOME FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THE PELL CITY AREA…WITH
WATER REPORTED TO BE ENTERING ONE BUSINESS AND WATER OVER SOME
ROADWAYS.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS…HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY…
COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS…STREAMS AND
OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY.
