Thunderstorms Moving Rapidly
A line of showers and thunderstorms has entered the western counties of our state and is making its way into Central Alabama fairly rapidly. Currently, none of these storms are severe, but they are producing gusty winds and some hail has been reported. This line is affecting Double Springs, Guin, Fayette and Reform currently and will be impacting Tuscaloosa and Jasper within the hour.
These storms will continue to move east and will be affecting the Interstate 65 and the downtown Birmingham by about 1 PM and will be into Etowah and Calhoun Counties around 2 PM
