New Severe Thunderstorm Watch for West Alabama

Over the last few hours, additional showers and thunderstorms have developed over Mississippi and are now developing over portions of West Alabama. The SPC has issued a new severe thunderstorm watch until Midnight for these areas. Great threat from these storms will be damaging winds and large hail. Torrential rain and frequent and dangerous lightning is occurring with these storms as well. Storms that develop will push off to the south the next few hours.
