A Few Showers

| February 25, 2014 @ 9:26 am

We continue to see a few light to moderate showers moving across portions of Central Alabama this morning.

Heaviest rain is currently falling across portions of Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Bibb, and Jefferson counties. These showers will continue to move off towards the east-southeast the next few hours. Nothing strong or severe with this activity, mostly just a nuisance. We still could see some peeks of sunshine today after this morning’s activity moves out of the area. We could also see a few additional showers develop through the afternoon.

Heading into the overnight hours, we will see our rain chances increase. A storm system will be moving across the Southeast the next 24-36 hours and will bring much of Alabama a soaking rain overnight.
