Pell City Pelicans

Nancy Galloway spotted an unusual sight from her home on Lake Logan Martin Saturday: a huge flock of visiting pelicans apparently passing through the area.

She said the amazing thing was the size of the birds, dwarfing the Canadian Geese that frequent the area. They stayed around for about an hour before moving on.
