WeatherBrains 426: In the Beginning When I was Trying

| March 25, 2014 @ 5:20 am

WeatherBrains Episode 426 is now online (March 24, 2014). If you are crazy about weather, this is THE netcast audio program for you!

The GBO, or Guest Booking Officer, has outdone himself tonight and the WeatherBrains podcast will once again test the limits of Google+. We don’t have two guests or even three, but FOUR guests.

Appearing as our guest panelist is Cheryl Nelson, also known as Mrs. Virginia International 2014. She is a TV personality, meteorologist, and model. She is a natural disaster preparedness ambassador.

Adding to the guest list, we have a big crowd of WeatherBrains for tonight’s show, all NWS folks, and all involved in an innovative forecasting project that intrigued our very own Aubrey.

Joining us as guest WeatherBrains we have Steve Zubrick, Science and Operations Officer (SOO) at the NWS office in Sterling, VA, which serves the Washington, DC area.

From the NWS office, Taunton, MA, we have Joe Dellacarpini, who is the Science and Operations Officer (SOO) for the office serving the Boston area.

And rounding out this fabulous lineup, we have Dave Novak who is not a SOO but serves as the Chief of the Development and Training Branch at Weather Prediction Center (WPC).
