Large mass of showers and storms continues to push across Mississippi this morning. The overall intensity of the line is beginning to weaken as the line approaches the more stable air over Alabama. For the next few hours, we will see this activity move into Alabama and it will likely produce some heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and maybe even some hail. After the soaking rain for many areas earlier today, we may have to watch for some isolated areas of flooding.

We are not expecting any severe weather with this area of showers and storms the next several hours. Just be mindful there will be a few stronger storms associated with this activity and there will certainly be some bright flashes of lightning as well as very loud thunder. The better dynamics and instability were west of Alabama, the threat for severe weather is very marginal the rest of tonight.
