Strong Storm Approaching Birmingham Metro

| April 6, 2014 @ 10:00 pm

This storm has been weakening as it moves across northern Tuscaloosa County. It is currently below severe limits, but is producing gusty winds, hail, and very heavy rainfall. The storms this evening have been pulsing up and down in intensity and we certainly could see this storm intensify again and reach severe limits.

It is moving in to western portions of Jefferson County now and should be approaching downtown by 10:30 PM. Much of the city will be impacted by this storm.
