Tonight’s Guest WeatherBrain is no stranger to anyone who follows tropical meteorology. He has been a research meteorologist with the Hurricane Research Division of the Atlantic Oceanographic & Meteorological Laboratory at NOAA. Chris Landsea now is the Science and Operations Officer at the National Hurricane Center.

Tonight’s in person Guest WeatherBrain is back for his fourth appearance on the show, fresh off a gig as the speaker. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Georgia. Dr. John Knox is a good friend of the podcast.

Tonight’s Guest Panelist is a junior at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH, majoring in meteorology. He was a student meteorologist for the local public access channel this past semester. He is very involved, serving as the president of the American Meteorological Society chapter at PSU, the Student Rep to the Faculty, the Student Body President, and the Senior Class President. So Hail to the Chief, Alex Herbst!
