WeatherBrains 437: Mountain Dew in my Trackpad

| June 10, 2014 @ 5:15 am

WeatherBrains Episode 437 is now online (June 9, 2014). If you are crazy about weather, this is THE netcast audio program for you!

Our Guest Panelist tonight is Jeff Craven, President of the National Weather Association, and our Guest WeatherBrain is Ken Heideman.

There are two major professional organizations for meteorologists, and they’re both represented on this show. First, our Guest Panelist is the President of the National Weather Association, Jeff Craven. He has appeared on WeatherBrains previously, back on show 339 in July, 2012. He is the Science and Operations Officer at the NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan office. He is one of few guests ever to appear on the show who actually has a severe weather index named for him.

Tonight’s Guest WeatherBrain is a suggestion of Sara Jane Shangraw. She suggested we have AMS Director of Publications Ken Heideman on the show. So tonight he joins us from Boston.
