Storms Weaker, But Still Packing a Punch

No more reports of severe weather have been received in the last 90 minutes from the storms near Caledonia MS, so the NWS Memphis has opted to issue a significant weather alert for Lowndes County MS instead of a severe thunderstorm warning.

You can see that the lead storms have gusted out with an outflow boundary having emanated from them.

The storms across northern Mississippi are not producing severe weather, but they are causing lots of lightning and torrential rains.

The storms have left a legacy of flash flood warnings across northern Mississippi.

There could be a few isolated reports of severe weather as the storms progress east southeastward into our state.
