Central Mississippi Storms Holding Together

Strong storms tonight from Greenwood to Grenada/Winona to near Houston to west of Starkville are rotating east southeastward tonight and will reach West Alabama’s Pickens County before 2:30 a.m.

They will reach Tuscaloosa by 3:30 a.m. and the Birmingham area by 4:30 a.m.

They contain lots of lightning and torrential rains and gusty winds.

They are not expected to be severe, but a few isolated severe reports are possible.

We will monitor them through the night.
