WeatherBrains 442: Eskimo Bad Breath

| July 15, 2014 @ 4:45 am

WeatherBrains Episode 442 is now online (June 14, 2014). If you are crazy about weather, this is THE netcast audio program for you!

Guest WeatherBrains for this episode include a new face and a veteran face. Joining us tonight are Mark Suddth of HurricaneTrack.com who just completed a hurricane chase on Arthur. Mark has joined us on WeatherBrains before, so he is the veteran face.

Joining us for the first time is Blake Naftel, a huge weather enthusiast with 17 years in television news including having been an avid storm chaser since 1997. Blake knew Tim and Carl, the chasers killed in the El Reno, OK, tornado last year, and in November he started floating the idea of a film/documentary on storm chasing. The idea went forward as a KickStarter project, see the link below, and got fantastic support in just a few days.

From The Weather Center:

WeatherBrains 101: There is no WeatherBrains 101 for this episode.

TWIWH: Bill Murray looks back at weather for the week of July 14th.
