Mostly Sunny and Hot Afternoon

It is another hot, dry, and mostly sunny day across the state of Alabama, and much of the Southeast. We are all basking under a sun-filled and blue sky, with just a few fair weather cumulus clouds showing up out there. No rain falling anywhere across the state, and heading through the rest of today and into tonight, the clear and dry weather will continue. We still see our dew points in the lower 60s, which is not making it quite as uncomfortable as it can be this time of year.

With the drier air hanging around for one more day, we have all seen a quick warm-up in our temperatures today. All locations across the state are either in the upper 80s or lower 90s. It is a hot afternoon out there, but once the sun sets this evening, we should begin to see those temps drop back through the 80s and head towards the lower 70s. The weather will be a nice for any outdoor plans you may have this evening or tonight.
