Severe Thunderstorm Warning Southern Sumter

The NWS has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southern Sumter County for a storm that produced a 54 mph wind gust at the Meridian Naval Air Station at 7:10 p.m.

The storm may bring damaging winds to places like Cuba, York and Livingston.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A

* UNTIL 800 PM CST

* AT 727 PM CST…THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60
MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR CUBA…AND MOVING EAST AT 55 MPH.

YORK…LIVINGSTON…KINTERBISH…THE UNIVERSITY OF WEST ALABAMA…
BLUFFPORT…COATOPA…DUG HILL AND WARD.
