Temperatures remain below freezing across the Birmingham metro as of 1:00…

Tuscaloosa was warmed to 33, as you can see, but most others are still in the 20s.

Thankfully, the snow/sleet/graupel combination has been light and spotty so far, with most of the travel issues north of Birmingham. Here is a look at I-65 near Decatur (photo from @markpearce24)

If the rain/sleet/graupel combo changes to freezing rain (as we expect), road conditions could worsen in the Birmingham metro. But, for now, there are very few travel impacts. Just keep a close eye on the blog or my Twitter feed (@spann) for updates…
