Civil Emergency Message

| February 20, 2015 @ 5:41 pm

Not telling you anything you didn’t know if you have been reading the blog, but Emergency Managers across the area have issued a Civil Emergency Message requesting people to limit travel to emergencies this evening and overnight in Northeast Alabama. They issue Civil Emergency Messages to trigger Weatheradio alarms and get the word out quickly to people who might not be aware.

There are numerous accidents and impassable roads in areas that received sleet and freezing rain this afternoon.

Additional freezing rain is a concern until temperature go above freezing overnight.
