Temperatures are now below freezing generally along and north of I-20…

Temperatures

COLD NIGHT: Temperatures will drop into the 17-22 degree range early tomorrow, so any lingering moisture will be ice on roads and bridges tonight and early tomorrow morning. If you have to travel tonight, be very careful and watch for icy patches… even if the road looks dry.

WARMER DAYS: We warm into the mid 40s tomorrow, and by Saturday afternoon we will enjoy a high around 60 degrees. Both days should feature a good supply of sunshine. Most communities will stay dry Sunday, although we might consider a small risk of a shower by late afternoon as moisture increases. The high Sunday will be up in the mid 60s.

NEXT WEEK: Model consistency has not been good, but there will be some risk of showers during the first half of the week. The good news is that temperatures will be very pleasant with highs in the 60s; we could reach the 70s by Thursday.
