Thunderstorms continue across Central Alabama tonight, but they are not severe.

The strongest storms are lined up along I-20 from Heflin back to the Oxford area, with additional ones lined up all along the interstate back to Moody in the Birmingham Metro.

A large mass of rain and thunderstorms covers much of Central Alabama tonight from Shelby and Talladega County on the east back through Chilton County to Perry County on the west.

Lots of lightning and gusty winds as well as heavy rains, but the threat for severe weather has diminished.
