UPDATED 6 AM THURSDAY AUG 14 TO ADD GALLION REPORT

Extreme Northeast Alabama did not get much rain but a vast part of the state got a great rain event. I feel sure there is not a single square mile of dry soil. It is unlike we have seen in a long time for a summer month unless a tropical system was coming down the pike.
