SOUTHWESTERN HENRY COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN ALABAMA…

* UNTIL 800 PM CDT

* AT 718 PM CDT…THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS DETECTED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60
MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR BLUE SPRINGS STATE PARK…OR 8
MILES SOUTHEAST OF CLIO…AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…
HEADLAND…OZARK…DOTHAN…MIDLAND CITY…NEWTON…PINCKARD…

All other severe thunderstorm warnings across Alabama have either expired or have been cancelled. The line of thunderstorms continues to pass through South-Central Alabama, moving in a south-eastern direction. Be aware that additional warnings and watches may be issued. We will continue to monitor these storms and will keep you updated!

Our friends at Alabama Power, as of 6 p.m., have restored power to 100,000 of their customers affected by last night’s storm and continue to work to restore the 15,000 still out.
