Severe Thunderstorm Warnings for Shelby and Calhoun Counties

Severe thunderstorm warnings are now in effect for parts of Shelby and Calhoun Counties.

The thunderstorms over Calhoun County is now severe with the potential for hail and especially damaging winds of 60 mph or greater. It is centered near Weaver and is pushing southeast. It will pass just north of Anniston and move toward Heflin.

The storm approaching Alabaster is also severe with a threat for damaging winds. It is moving toward Calera.
