| September 17, 2015 @ 3:10 pm

**No afternoon Weather Xtreme video today; we are programming NOAA Weather Radio receivers at Brooklere Pharmacy in Adamsville on Gray Avanue between now and 6:30… if you need help, or want your radio checked; some see us!**

THIS AFTERNOON: We have a mix of sun and clouds across the great state of Alabama; temperatures are mostly in the low 80s, and there is nothing on radar.

TOMORROW AND THE WEEKEND: Not much change in the weather; we stay mostly rain-free through Sunday with highs in the 87 to 90 degree range, about 3 to 5 degrees above average for mid-September. Partly to mostly sunny days, and fair nights. A weak front could trigger a few widely scattered showers over far North Alabama Sunday afternoon, but the the rest of the state should remain dry.

NEXT WEEK: We will bring in the risk of a few widely scattered showers Monday through Wednesday, but rain amounts should be light and spotty. Highs will drop back toward the 80 degree mark.

FOOTBALL WEATHER: Expect a clear sky for the high school games tonight and tomorrow night with temperatures falling through the 70s. No lightning delays this week.

The weather will be clear for the Alabama/Ole Miss game Saturday night in Tuscaloosa with a kickoff temperature near 78 degrees (8:15p CT), falling through the 70s during the game. Auburn travels to Baton Rouge to play LSU Saturday… kickoff is at 2:30. It will feel more like summer with 92 degrees at kickoff with a mostly sunny sky. No threat of rain.

TROPICS: Tropical Depression Nine in the Central Atlantic remains disorganized, and is expected to dissipate by the weekend before reaching tropical storm strength. A wave over the southeast Gulf of Mexico is moving northeast, and could develop slowly once it reaches the Atlantic, and another wave over the eastern Atlantic could develop slowly in coming days.
