Clouds continue to thicken and increase in coverage across the state today. It is a cool day with most location across Central Alabama in the 60s this afternoon.

Through the morning hours, we have been watching light rain showers over much of West Alabama. The heavier rain and storms remains to the west of the state, but those will be sliding east the rest of today and tonight. For the trick of treaters tonight, take the rain gear, as rain will be increasing in coverage.

For tomorrow, it will be one of those rare days where we are calling for a 100% of rain as the entire state will be seeing the wet stuff. Tomorrow will feature periods of rain and it will be heavy at times. Much of the state will see 1-3 inches of rain, with heavier totals possible and we can see that on the latest QPF output below. Flash flood watches are in effect for Southwest Alabama, and though we could see a few areas of flooding in Central Alabama, widespread flooding is not expected.
