The day ahead will feature sunshine in full supply with a high in the mid 50s this afternoon.

REST OF THE WEEK: The weather for most of the state will be dry through Friday, with a day to day warming trend. We reach the low 60s tomorrow and Wednesday, followed by mid 60s Thanksgiving and Friday afternoon. Expect a good supply of sunshine each day, although scattered clouds arrive Thursday and Friday.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: Still looks like the best chance of significant rain will stay west of Alabama Saturday, although showers will be possible over the far northern part of the state. We will mention a chance of showers for all of North and Central Alabama Sunday, but confidence isn’t especially high since the GFS (American model) looks relatively dry, and the ECMWF (European model) is wet. We project a high in the low 60s Saturday, and upper 50s Sunday.

NEXT WEEK: We will hang on to the chance of rain Monday, followed by drier air Tuesday through mid-week. No sign of any extremely cold air… see the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.

IRON BOWL: Confidence is fairly high that rain will stay west of Auburn Saturday afternoon; for now we will forecast a partly sunny sky at kickoff (2:30 p.m.) at Jordan-Hare Stadium with a kickoff temperature near 62 degrees, falling into the 50s by the fourth quarter. Keep in mind this forecast could change, so keep up with the latest forecasts.

AT THE BEACH: Sunny days, fair nights on the coast from Gulf Shores over to Panama City Beach this week with a warming trend; See the complete Gulf Coast 7 Day Planner here. The Gulf Coast Beach Forecast is presented by Gulf Shores Plantation by Mandoki Hospitality Vacation Rentals. Escape to Gulf Shores Plantation where memories last a lifetime.
