The above graphic shows the accumulated rainfall over Marion and Winston Counties. WEll over 5 inches has fallen in spots. 7 inches has fallen in Hamilton. Flooding is widespread.

This is a life threatening flooding situation!

Please do not drive across the warning areas in North Alabama.

* AT 408 PM CST…DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUES TO SHOW THUNDERSTORMS
PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. OVER 7 INCHES OF RAIN
HAS BEEN MEASURED OVER PARTS OF THE AREA WITH SEVERAL REPORTS OF
EXTREME FLOODING THROUGHOUT THE DAY.

THIS IS A FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY FOR MARION AND WINSTON COUNTIES.
