Tornado Warning for Sumter/Pickens; Be Ready Aliceville!

Spotters report large tornado visible from AL-17 on the Pickens/Sumter line at 4:38. Radar indicates the tornado is near Cochrane. It will pass very near Alieville and McMullen.

Take cover immediately from this dangerous tornado!

Confirmed large and dangerous tornado on the ground northwest of Geiger in Sumter County.

It is moving northeast and will clip NW Sumter County and move into Pickens County, possible passing near Aliceville. It will be in Aliceville between 445-5 p.m.

Numerous trees down on structures in Scooba MS.

This is a very dangerous storm. Take cover if you are in the path.

And notify friends and family in the warning as well.
