Looks like a tornado moved through Norman, OK around 4:30 CDT this afternoon. The OU campus is OK, but some significant damage is reported in other parts of town. Seems like the most dangerous storm on the board at the moment is the one moving away from Chickasha near Blanchard… another dangerous storm is north of Oklahoma City approaching Edmond, but that one has weakened in the last 15 minutes.

Large Wedge Tornado Along I-40 West of OKC

The tornado shows up very clearly on radar west of Oklahoma City… I-40 seems to shut down in the region of the tornado. People in Calumet, OK and points east need to be in a safe place.

I’m originally from Oxford, AL but I’m currently attending the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. I have a few pictures of our Blizzard if you’d like to use them. The snow drift in between the two cars was 28 inches at around 11:45am. It has since grow to 33 inches.”
