RADAR CHECK: Scattered showers and storms are slowly increasing across Alabama this afternoon… some of the heaviest rain is falling across parts of Pickens, Tuscaloosa, and Bibb counties in West Alabama as I write this. The storms are not severe, but they are producing heavy rain and some lightning. Away from the storms, the sky is partly sunny with temperatures mostly in the 80s.

We do note Mobile and Dothan have reached the 90 degree mark. Isolated showers remain possible tonight, otherwise the sky will be mostly cloudy with a low between 65 and 72 degrees.
