FEELS LIKE SUMMER: A humid airmass covers Alabama this morning with temperatures mostly in the 70s at daybreak. With a partly sunny sky temperatures rise into the mid to upper 80s this afternoon, and a few scattered showers and storms will form during the heat of the day.
QUIET AFTERNOON: Not much on radar across Alabama this afternoon… with a partly sunny sky temperatures are generally in the mid to upper 80s. A few isolated showers or storms could form this evening or tonight, however.
A major severe weather outbreak is expected today and tonight across the Plains. Multiple strong, long-tracked tornadoes, as well as very large hail and severe thunderstorms gusts are expected.
