The latest Vortex Data Message from the National Hurricane Center shows that the latest reconnaissance mission into the center of Eta could not find an eye as of yet, but it does show that maximum surface winds are up to 62 knots or just over 70 MPH.

Eta Is Back to Tropical Storm Status, Recon Finds it is Strengthening

Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunters are finding that the storm is much stronger, with flight-level winds of 59 knots or around 60 mph when adjusted for altitude. Surface winds were measured at 55 knots or 63 mph. The NHC has adjusted the intensity to 50 mph. A special advisory may be issued within the hour.
