As the holiday shopping frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday is upon us, what can brick-and-mortar stores and online retailers expect this season?
BLUE SKY: As advertised this morning, this has been a sunny, cool day for Alabama with temperatures in the 55-65 degree range this afternoon. Tonight will be clear and cold with a low in the 30s for most spots; some frost is likely, and colder spots could touch the freezing mark.
Being the first African American to lead the Alabama State Nursing Association (ASNA) in the organization’s 107-year history is an honor, but ASNA President Lindsey Harris said she hopes it will become the norm for leadership roles in the industry.
The rest of today will continue to feature sunshine in full supply with temperatures heading towards the 60 degree mark across North/Central Alabama. At midday, temperatures continue to range from the low to mid 50s across North and Central Alabama.

Today will feature sunshine in full supply with a high between 58 and 63 degrees; the average high for Birmingham on November 23 is 63. Understand it can be very warm around Thanksgiving around here; the record high today is 80 set in 1921.
