As of 9:28 pm, showers with some embedded heavier rain continues to fall over portions of North/Central Alabama located along and north of the I-20/59 corridor.
An isolated damaging-wind threat is possible with a line of storms quickly moving through the discussion area.
As of 8:12 pm tonight, we have a mass of light to moderate rain mainly along and north of the I-20 and I-20/59 corridors in North/Central Alabama, along with a few embedded pockets of heavy rain mixed in, especially in-between I-59 and I-20 in the northeastern parts of the area.

After a foggy start across much of the area this morning, drier air moving in behind a cold front has dissipated much of the fog and most areas will see increasing sunshine.
Dense fog this morning will give way to some sun and mild readings today before low pressure tracks across Alabama tonight bringing fairly generous rainfall amounts and windy conditions.
