One of south Alabama’s oldest conservation groups has changed its name. Weeks Bay Foundation is now South Alabama Land Trust (SALT).

A Beautiful Afternoon in Progress; Severe Weather Possible Tomorrow Night, Friday Morning
We have shifted the timing of tomorrow night’s severe weather threat to begin at about 10 p.m. for Central Alabama running through early Friday afternoon over southeastern sections of the area. Damaging winds and a few tornadoes are possible with the highest risk over southwestern portions of the area.
