The surge of U.S. business formations in the back half of 2020 has been one of the pandemic’s many surprises.
WINDY WINTER DAY: A tightening pressure gradient is bringing windy conditions to Alabama this afternoon; winds have gusted to 30 mph in spots. The sky is mostly sunny, but clouds will move into the northern half of the state over the next few hours.
The sky cleared this morning, and we are seeing tons of sunshine across the state at the midday hours, but more clouds to our northwest will be rolling back into the northern half of the state late today and through the overnight hours.
TRENDING COLDER: A cold front passed through Alabama mostly in dry fashion overnight; today will feature a mostly sunny sky this morning, followed by scattered clouds this afternoon. The high will be around 50 degrees for the northern half of the state, with mid 50s to the south. Then, tonight, as colder air rolls into the state, a disturbance has the potential to bring snow showers and flurries to the northern quarter of Alabama.
