On Jan. 29, the Alabama Department of Health (ADPH) extended the eligibility for those receiving COVID-19 vaccine to people age 65 and older. The organization also added to the groups of front-line workers who are eligible for vaccines.

The NWS Huntsville has issued a significant weather advisory for light snow accumulations over Northeast Alabama’s Jackson County starting late tonight through Monday evening. Accumulations could reach one inch over the higher elevations of Jackson County up into the southern Cumberland Plateau.
