Mobile-area members of the Alabama Power Service Organization started the new year with a coat and blanket drive for the area’s homeless population.
“There’s not much to cornbread.” It’s probably not polite to disagree with the restaurant owner, but Curt Ausley, owner of Zack’s Family Restaurant in Slocomb, was wrong in making this statement.
Skies are at maximum sunshine across all of Alabama as we start to make our run-up to the midday hour. We can still see some snow and ice cover over the northwest corner of North Alabama, but hopefully, that will melt away through the remainder of the day.
I hope you are ready for some nice weather for a change as we’ll see a good supply of sunshine with above-normal temperatures, but we will have to deal with some showers to start the work week.
