Strong Storms Affecting Pickens, Marion, Fayette, & Lamar Counties

SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN PICKENS…SOUTHERN MARION…WESTERN FAYETTE AND LAMAR COUNTIES UNTIL 1:00 PM CDT.

At 12:22 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Detroit to near Millport. Movement was east at 20 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Hamilton, Winfield, Fayette, Vernon, Sulligent, Reform, Millport, Guin, Brilliant, Glen Allen, Kennedy, Detroit, Belk, Beaverton, Gu-Win, Bluff, Ashcraft Corner, Blooming Grove, Lamar County Airport and Crews.
